6. SMS Messaging Program

MatchScheduler sends SMS text messages to users who opt in via the notification settings in the app. Messages include match reminders, player join/leave alerts, and other activity updates related to your scheduled matches.

• How to opt in: Provide your mobile phone number in Settings → Edit Profile, then enable the SMS toggle in Settings → Notifications. Consent to receive SMS is never required to use MatchScheduler.
• Message frequency: Varies based on your match activity (typically 1–3 messages per match).
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.
• Opt-out: Disable the SMS toggle in your notification settings, or reply STOP to any message.
